HQ Acquire Anna Bell’s We Just Clicked!

We are delighted to announce that Anna Bell’s new novel We Just Clicked and a second untitled novel have been snapped up by HQ. World English language rights were sold to senior commissioning editor Emily Kitchen by Hannah Ferguson. The Instagram-inspired story will be published in e-book in April 2020 with the paperback to follow in July 2020.

We Just Clicked, Anna’s eighth novel, follows Izzy an Instagrammer who uses her social media profile to create a glamorous persona that is a far cry from her reality. When her co-worker Luke suggests they ‘fake-date’ in order to boost their profiles, Izzy sees her chance.ut she doesn’t plan on meeting handsome Aidan at her local cinema’s old-movie night. When Izzy finds herself unexpectedly torn between online fame and real-life love, which will she choose?

Anna Bell says she’s a hopeless romantic and loves nothing more than a good happy ending. She currently lives in France with her husband, their two children and labrador. When not chained to her laptop, she can be found hiking around the mountains and eating far too many treats from the French patisseries.
