Ann Morgan is a freelance writer and editor, who read a book from every country in the world in 2012. Her work has appeared in the Guardian, the New Internationalist, the Independent, the Financial Times and BBC Culture.

Her first novel, Beside Myself, is a psychological literary thriller about twin girls who swap places in a childhood game and get trapped in the wrong lives when one of them refuses to change back.

Leading on from her year-long reading quest, which inspired her non-fiction book, Reading the World: Confessions of a Literary Explorer, Ann continues to blog about international literature at ayearofreadingtheworld.com.
