HarperFiction snaps up two new Cressida McLaughlin titles!

Fans of Cressida McLaughlin are in luck as two new novels are on their way! Kate Bradley, senior commissioning editor at HarperFiction, acquired world English rights in a two-book deal from Hannah Ferguson at Hardman and Swainson.

Readers can expect the first novel, The Cornish Cream Tea Bus, in August 2019 published as four ‘e-serial’ parts in e-book format with the paperback to follow.

Bradley said: “We’re thrilled to be continuing our very successful partnership with Cressida. The Cornish Cream Tea Bus will feature all the things that readers love the most about her books: idyllic locations, vintage charm, lashings of gorgeous cakes, and a lovable heroine.”

McLaughlin said: “I’m delighted to be publishing two more books with Kate and the HarperFiction team. I love working with them, and I’m very excited about what the future holds. Cornwall is one of my favourite places in the world, and I really hope readers are ready to get on board with The Cornish Cream Tea Bus.”

Cressida McLaughlin was born in South East London surrounded by books and with a cat named after Lawrence of Arabia. She studied English at the University of East Anglia and now lives in Norwich with her husband David.
