RNA Shortlists 2019: Giovanna Fletcher, Isabelle Broom and Nikola Scott

The shortlists for the Romantic Novel Awards 2019 have been announced and we’re over the moon that not one but three of our authors have made their way into this year’s lists! The Romantic Novelists Association’s annual awards are the only national literary prizes that recognise excellence in the romantic fiction genre.

Isabelle Broom’s One Thousand Stars and You, a heartfelt story in which a chance encounter in Sri Lanka forces a young woman to question the future she has planned for herself, has be shortlisted for the The Sapere Books Popular Romantic Fiction Award, a new prize for 2019, and The Goldsboro Books Contemporary Romantic Novel Award. Nikola Scott’s compelling novel of two women born decades apart and confronted by knowledge that a man in their lives is not what he appears, Summer of Secrets has been shortlisted for the The Goldsboro Books Historical Romantic Novel Award. Eve of Man, the electrifying dystopian love story in which the last girl on Earth is faced with a difficult choice, by Giovanna and Tom Fletcher has been shortlisted for the The Fantasy Romantic Novel Award.

The winners will be announced in March 2019 and presented by bestselling historical novelist Alison Weir at a ceremony held at the Gladstone Library.
