Emma Nesporova
Emma Nesporova was born and grew up in the historic town of St Albans. She studied history at Cambridge University where she did a PhD researching the lives of early medieval peasants. After that she spent a number of years working in HR in London, and did not begin writing fiction until she was on maternity leave after the birth of her daughter in 2016. Her debut novel, The Relics, is set in the aftermath of the fourteenth-century Peasants’ Revolt.
Emma lives with her husband and two daughters in Essex at the edge of Epping Forest.
