We are so pleased to share that Marion Gibson’s Witchland: A Tale of Witch Hunting and War in Seventeenth-Century Britain was #9 in The Times‘ Hardback Non-fiction chart on Saturday.

Witchland was published on 30th July by Simon & Schuster, and has received great reviews around its publication. It was a Daily Mail book of the week, described as ‘terrifying but compulsive’. Kathryn Hughes wrote that she ‘finished this wonderful book feeling less like a voyeur of historic pain and more like someone who has received a timely reminder about the life-and-death importance of never allowing yourself to get caught up in the latest criminal conspiracy’.
