We are excited to announce that Piatkus Fiction has signed Laura Bloom’s ‘sweet and spicy’ small-town romance series. Elena Torres bought UK and Commonwealth rights in a two-book deal from Caroline Hardman. Laura Bloom is the pen name of Tracy Buchanan.

North American rights have been acquired by Lizzie Poteet at Dell Books, PRH. German rights in two books were pre-empted by Blanvalet/PRH, Dutch rights in two books have sold to Luitingh-Sijthoff at auction, and Italian rights in The Cherry Blossom Boathouse have sold to Newton Compton.

Bloom’s first novel in the series, The Cherry Blossom Boathouse, will be published in May 2026, with The Sugar Maple Inn following in the autumn.

Bloom said: “I’m delighted by the incredible response to The Cherry Blossom Boathouse. Working with the wonderful teams at Piatkus in the UK and Dell in the US has been such a joy, and I’m so grateful to the brilliant international publishers who are bringing the series to even more readers. Solace Springs has always felt like such a special place to me, and I can’t wait for readers everywhere to fall in love with the town and the characters who bring it to life”.

Torres said: “Laura Bloom’s story offers pure, heartwarming escapism. It is exactly the kind of book readers are craving today. It’s bursting with small-town charm, quirky characters, and second chances at love”.
